Gregg Neibauer, DPM
Podiatrist

Dr.Neibauer has been practicing in Missoula, MT since May 2004.He earned his Podiatric Medical degree from Dr.William M.Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL in 1998. He completed his residency in 2000 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Denver, CO, which included extensive training in foot surgery, diabetic care, wound care, podiatric medicine, and biomechanics/orthotics.

Upon completing his residency program he practiced in Cincinnati, OH for four years, after which he was thrilled to head west to Big Sky country. Dr. Neibauer is Board Certified in Foot Surgery/Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Surgery as well as Board Certified in the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

In his spare time Dr. Neibauer enjoys spending time with his loving wife Krista and his two children, Alex and Morgan. He also has a passion for the great outdoors. You can often catch him fly-fishing, fly-tying, skiing, running, hunting and hiking. Additionally, he’s an avid sports fan! His favorite teams are the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Chicago Blackhawks and the Atlanta Braves.

Gregg may be the doctor, but Krista keeps it all running! When they moved to Missoula in May of 2004, she and Dr. Neibauer took over Alpine Foot & Ankle Clinic and haven’t looked back. Montana is a far cry from her home state of North Carolina, but she loves the mountains of Montana and all the outdoor opportunities.  When she isn’t in the office, she is running children around town to different activities. As an active individual, in the summer she loves golfing, hiking and biking, and in the winter she heads to the local mountains to enjoy the wonderful ski slopes around the area. When asked what is her favorite part of working at Alpine Foot & Ankle Clinic, she responded “It’s nice to be the owner of a business with such a dedicated and loyal staff.”

Fun Fact: Krista traveled Europe in 1997 for 2 months by herself and visited 11 countries.

Registered Medical Assistant

Meet Hailey, one of the registered medical assistants in our office. What Hailey loves about the office is the positive attitudes of her coworkers. Hailey graduated from the Missoula College in 2021 with her associates degree in Medical Assisting and certification in Medical Reception. When Hailey is not in the office, she enjoys reading, baking, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Fun fact: Hailey has travelled to France and Italy.

Registered Medical Assistant

Meet Heidi, a registered medical assistant. She is a Missoula native and graduated from Missoula College with an associate’s degree in Medical Assisting and a certificate in Medical Reception. Heidi loves taking advantage of everything Montana has to offer, including hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding. She also enjoys cooking, growing unique house plants and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing about Alpine is laughing with her coworkers and working with our patients.

Fun Fact: Heidi loves all animals but has a special place in her heart for Golden Retrievers.

Dorothy
Billing Manager

Meet Dorothy, Alpine Foot & Ankle Clinic’s Billing Manager. Dorothy’s been working with Dr. Neibauer since 2006. Her favorite part about working at the office is the close-knit family environment. Her position also gives her many opportunities to talk with our patients and build lasting relationships. When Dorothy’s not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.

Fun Fact: Dorothy got a full-ride softball scholarship to play at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND where she was first-team all-division her freshman and sophomore year.

Danette
Special Projects

Meet Danette, our part time special projects person. She and her husband moved to Missoula in 2016 after her husband’s retirement from the State of Texas. They live with their incredibly energetic Golden Retriever, Maverick. Danette enjoys gardening, hiking, quilting and projects around her very old house. You can often find her out running and participating in half marathons. Danette’s favorite thing about working for Alpine is working with the staff to create a positive and fun environment for our patients.

Fun Fact: Danette has a PhD in Exercise Physiology.
